Privacy Policy for Purge Cleaner

Privacy Policy for Purge

Last Updated: August 21, 2026

Purge, also referred to as Purge Cleaner or the App, is created and operated by Shaiq Paracha, operating as SincereGen Technologies ("we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains what information Purge accesses or collects, how that information is used, when information may be processed by third-party service providers, and the choices and rights available to you.

Purge is designed around local processing. Core photo, video, contact, compression, and vault operations are performed on your device. Certain analytics, diagnostics, subscription, and optional Gmail-related functions involve third-party services as described below.

By using Purge, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular type of processing, we will rely on consent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.

1. Information We Access and Process

A. Photos and Videos

If you grant Photo Library permission, Purge may access photos and videos stored on your device in order to provide features such as:

  • identifying duplicate or similar photos;

  • identifying blurry photos;

  • reviewing screenshots;

  • locating large photos and videos;

  • displaying storage-related information;

  • compressing videos; and

  • deleting media selected by you.

The analysis used to provide these cleaning and compression features is performed locally on your device.

Purge does not upload your complete photo or video library to SincereGen Technologies servers for photo cleaning, duplicate detection, or video compression.

You control whether Purge can access your Photo Library through iOS permission settings.

B. Contacts

If you grant Contacts permission, Purge may access contact information stored on your device, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses, in order to:

  • identify duplicate contacts;

  • compare duplicate records;

  • merge contacts at your request; and

  • identify incomplete contact records.

Contact analysis is performed locally on your device.

Purge does not upload your address book to SincereGen Technologies servers for contact-cleaning purposes.

You can revoke Contacts access at any time through your iOS settings.

C. Private Vault

Purge includes a private vault for storing photos, videos, and documents inside the App's local sandbox.

Vault content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to SincereGen Technologies servers as part of the vault functionality.

The vault may be protected using a PIN and, where available, Apple's Face ID or Touch ID authentication mechanisms.

Purge does not receive or store your biometric template, facial scan, fingerprint information, or other biometric credentials. Biometric authentication is handled by Apple's operating system.

Important: Deleting Purge may permanently delete files stored only inside the App's local vault. You should restore or export any files you wish to keep before deleting the App.

D. Device Permissions

Purge may request permissions only when they are required for a feature you choose to use.

Depending on the features you use, these permissions may include:

  • Photo Library access;

  • Contacts access; and

  • biometric authentication capability.

You may revoke permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.

2. Gmail and Google Account Integration

Purge includes an optional Gmail inbox-cleaning feature. You are not required to connect Gmail in order to use other Purge features.

If you choose to connect a Gmail account, authentication is performed using Google OAuth. Purge does not ask for or receive your Google account password.

Depending on the permissions you approve, Purge may access Gmail information necessary to provide inbox-cleaning functionality, including information such as:

  • sender names;

  • sender email addresses;

  • email subject lines;

  • message identifiers;

  • message dates or timestamps;

  • labels or categories;

  • mailing-list or subscription-related metadata; and

  • other message metadata required to identify and manage promotional or subscription emails.

This information may be used to:

  • identify recurring senders and mailing lists;

  • group promotional or subscription emails;

  • sort senders by email volume or recency;

  • unsubscribe from mailing lists at your request; and

  • delete emails that you explicitly choose to remove.

Purge does not use Gmail data for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.

Purge does not intentionally use the private body content of your personal emails for unrelated purposes.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell Google user data or use Google user data for personalized advertising.

You may disconnect your Gmail account from within Purge where that option is available, or revoke Purge's Google access through your Google Account security settings.

3. Subscriptions and Purchase Information

Purge may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to Purge Pro or other premium functionality.

Subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive or store:

  • your full payment card number;

  • your bank account information;

  • your Apple Account password; or

  • other payment credentials used by Apple to complete the transaction.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, verify purchases, determine whether premium access is active, restore purchases, and analyze subscription performance.

RevenueCat may process information such as:

  • the subscription product or product identifier;

  • purchase and renewal status;

  • transaction information;

  • Apple receipt information;

  • subscription expiration information;

  • entitlement status;

  • an App User ID or anonymous customer identifier;

  • app and device technical information;

  • the time the App was last used; and

  • subscription experiment or paywall-variant information where used.

Because Purge does not require a user account for its core functionality, RevenueCat may use an anonymous App User ID to associate subscription information with an installation or customer.

RevenueCat does not receive your payment-card details from Purge. Payment credentials and billing are handled by Apple.

We use RevenueCat information for purposes including:

  • verifying purchases;

  • unlocking Purge Pro functionality;

  • restoring previous purchases;

  • preventing purchase-related fraud;

  • troubleshooting subscription issues;

  • measuring subscription performance; and

  • evaluating pricing or paywall experiments.

4. Analytics, Diagnostics, and App Improvement

We use third-party analytics and diagnostic services to understand how Purge performs, identify crashes, measure feature usage, and improve the App.

These services may transmit limited information from your device to their servers.

Firebase Analytics

We may use Google Firebase Analytics to collect information about how users interact with Purge.

This may include information such as:

  • App events and feature interactions;

  • App version;

  • device and operating-system information;

  • session information;

  • general usage information;

  • technical identifiers generated by the service; and

  • other analytics information provided by Firebase.

We use this information to understand feature usage, measure product performance, improve the App, and evaluate product changes.

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical problems.

Crashlytics may process information such as:

  • crash stack traces;

  • device model;

  • operating-system version;

  • App version;

  • application state associated with a crash;

  • diagnostic logs; and

  • other technical information necessary to identify and resolve software problems.

Crash information is used for debugging, reliability, and security purposes.

Firebase Remote Config

Purge may use Firebase Remote Config to remotely configure non-sensitive App settings, experiments, feature availability, paywall configuration, and usage limits.

Remote Config may process technical information necessary to deliver the appropriate configuration to an App installation.

Microsoft Clarity

We may use Microsoft Clarity for Mobile Apps to understand how users interact with Purge.

Clarity may process information such as:

  • device type and model;

  • operating-system and App version;

  • screen size and device characteristics;

  • country or region inferred from network information;

  • taps, touches, gestures, and interaction events;

  • App screens and interface layout;

  • performance or application-error information;

  • session identifiers; and

  • information used to reconstruct App interaction sessions and generate usage analytics.

Clarity session reconstruction is used to help us identify usability problems, understand feature interaction, and improve the App.

Clarity does not access your Photo Library, Contacts database, or Vault as a storage provider. However, because analytics systems may process information displayed within the App interface, visible content may be subject to Clarity's masking and privacy controls.

We do not use Clarity for the purpose of selling your personal information.

5. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Purge does not require you to create a Purge account for its core functionality.

Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, we do not intentionally collect:

  • your Apple Account password;

  • your Google Account password;

  • full payment-card information;

  • Face ID facial data;

  • Touch ID fingerprint data;

  • health records;

  • precise GPS location; or

  • the complete contents of your photo, video, contact, or vault libraries on our own servers.

6. How We Use Information

Information described in this Privacy Policy may be used to:

  • provide the features you request;

  • process photo, video, contact, and storage-cleaning operations;

  • provide Gmail inbox-cleaning functionality;

  • verify and manage subscriptions;

  • restore purchases;

  • maintain App security;

  • diagnose crashes and technical failures;

  • prevent abuse or fraud;

  • analyze feature usage;

  • evaluate product and paywall experiments;

  • improve user experience and performance;

  • provide customer support;

  • comply with applicable legal obligations; and

  • protect our rights and the rights of users.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.

We do not sell Gmail data.

7. Third-Party Service Providers

Purge uses third-party services that may process information as described above.

These currently include:

Apple

Apple processes App Store purchases, subscription billing, payment information, refunds, and Apple Account subscription management.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat processes subscription transaction information, purchase status, receipt information, entitlements, anonymous or other App User IDs, and related technical information required to manage subscriptions.

Google Firebase

Firebase services may process analytics, crash, diagnostic, Remote Config, device, App, and usage information depending on the Firebase products enabled in Purge.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity may process App-interaction, session, device, interface-layout, region, and related analytics information used to understand user behavior and improve Purge.

Google

Google provides OAuth authentication and Gmail API services when you voluntarily connect your Gmail account.

We require service providers to process information only for legitimate purposes associated with providing their services to us, subject to their applicable terms, privacy commitments, and applicable law.

8. Legal Bases for Processing

Where laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or similar legislation apply, we process personal data under one or more appropriate legal bases, which may include:

Performance of a Contract

Processing may be necessary to provide a feature or service that you request, such as managing a subscription or performing a Gmail action.

Consent

We may rely on your consent when you:

  • grant device permissions;

  • connect a Google account;

  • authorize Gmail access; or

  • consent to analytics or other processing where consent is legally required.

You may withdraw consent where applicable, although doing so may prevent certain features from functioning.

Legitimate Interests

Where permitted by law, we may process limited analytics, security, fraud-prevention, diagnostic, and performance information for our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving Purge.

Legal Obligations

We may process or preserve information where reasonably required to comply with law, regulatory obligations, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to operational, legal, security, and contractual requirements.

On-Device Content

Photos, videos, contacts, compressed media, and vault files remain on your device unless you delete, export, move, or otherwise modify them.

Deleting Purge may delete locally stored App data, including files that remain only in the Secret Vault.

Gmail Information

We do not maintain a separate permanent copy of your Gmail mailbox for inbox-cleaning purposes.

Information accessed through Gmail is used as necessary to provide the actions you request.

Authorization information may remain valid until you disconnect Purge, revoke Google access, or the authorization otherwise expires.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Analytics, diagnostic, and session information may be retained for the period configured with the applicable service provider and for as long as reasonably necessary to analyze product performance, investigate technical issues, or meet legal obligations.

Where within our control, we aim not to retain analytics information longer than necessary for these purposes.

Subscription Information

Purchase and subscription information may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as necessary to:

  • maintain purchase history;

  • verify entitlement status;

  • restore purchases;

  • process renewals or refunds;

  • prevent fraud;

  • maintain financial or operational records; and

  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Security measures include, where applicable:

  • Apple's application sandbox;

  • on-device processing for core media and contact analysis;

  • biometric authentication provided by iOS;

  • secure OAuth authentication for Google access;

  • encrypted network connections provided by third-party services; and

  • access restrictions for analytics and subscription-management systems.

No electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Your Choices and Controls

You have several ways to control the information available to Purge.

Photo and Contact Permissions

You may revoke Photos or Contacts access through your iOS Settings.

Biometric Access

You may disable biometric access through your device or App settings where available.

Gmail Access

You may disconnect Gmail through the App where available or revoke Purge's access through your Google Account security settings.

Subscription Management

You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings.

Deleting Purge does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.

Analytics and Data Requests

Where applicable, you may contact us to request information about personal data associated with you that is under our control, or to request correction or deletion.

Because much of Purge's core data is stored only on your device and Purge does not require an account, we may not be able to identify or retrieve local information associated with a particular person.

You can delete local App information by deleting the relevant content or uninstalling Purge, subject to the warning regarding Vault files.

12. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide rights concerning your personal data.

These rights may include the right to:

  • request access to personal data;

  • request correction of inaccurate data;

  • request deletion of personal data;

  • request restriction of certain processing;

  • object to certain processing;

  • receive certain data in a portable format;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and

  • lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.

These rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions and verification requirements.

To exercise an applicable privacy right, contact us using the email address provided below.

13. International Data Processing

Some third-party service providers used by Purge may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.

Where required by applicable law, transfers of personal information are subject to appropriate legal mechanisms or safeguards implemented by the relevant service provider or by us.

14. Children's Privacy

Purge is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without appropriate authorization.

Where local law requires parental consent at a higher age, we intend to comply with the applicable requirement.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable law, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information.

15. Business Transfers

If SincereGen Technologies or the Purge business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar transaction, information associated with operation of the service may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

This does not include local Photo Library, Contacts, or Vault content that we do not possess.

16. Legal Requests and Protection

We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or valid legal process;

  • respond to lawful governmental requests;

  • protect the rights, safety, or property of users, SincereGen Technologies, or others;

  • investigate fraud, security incidents, or abuse; or

  • enforce applicable agreements.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to Purge features;

  • changes to third-party service providers;

  • new subscription or payment functionality;

  • changes to data practices;

  • changes to legal requirements; or

  • other operational changes.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the Last Updated date above.

If a change materially affects how information is collected, used, or shared, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
